Course Description

Welcome to Dr. Richard Kushon's World History Class! I know we are going to have an exciting year of stimulating and challenging learning together. It is my privilege to help guide you on a journey of discovering history through a course that will be student-centered, relevant and, dare I say, fun!
This site will be our home-base, so check it regularly. I will constantly be uploading course materials, as well as important announcements.
 
Week One-July 5-8
Introduce the concept of history and why we study history. Explore ourselves as historical subjects through the creation of an autobiographical narrative.
Students should have their notebooks Friday,.July8.
 
Week Two-July 11-15
Monday-Introduce Interactive notebooks
Explore the geography of Europe with jigsaw map activity. 
Students will get textbooks.
