The Bell Eagles Academic Decathlon Team Excels Again!

The Bell Academic Decathlon Team finished 14th at the California State Competition (out of 68 teams) and 1st in Division II. The team also finished 1st place in Division II Super Quiz.

Contributing team members were:
Seniors: Francisco Armijo, Daniel Cardenas, Alan Cuevas, Beyla Espinoza, Kassidy Osoy, and Corey Rosales
Juniors: Armando Aguilar, Rubi Espinoza, and Diego Mora

Francisco Armijo earned a bronze medals in Interview.
Beyla Espinoza earned a silver medal in Literature.
Kassidy Osoy earned a silver medal in Music.
Armando Aguilar earned a bronze medal in Art and a gold medal in Literature.
Diego Mora earned bronze medals in Essay and Literature. He also earned a gold medal in Art. Diego was honored for being the 2nd highest scoring Varsity student in Division II.

Alan Cuevas earned the highest score for Bell with 8,594 points (out of a possible 10,000). Alan earned a bronze medal in Essay and a silver medal in Math. He was also honored for being the third highest scoring Honor student in Division II.

Captain, Daniel Cardenas earned a bronze medal in Literature, a silver medal in Art and a gold medal in Music. He was also honored for being the highest scoring Scholastic student in Division II.
