Getting the shoe constructed almost ready to finish

alright this is part three of the construction of the shoe at this point you should have this peas done remember we talked about the center lining up with the center make sure that this little shorties is actually rounded and that the curve is facing up not down so thing whereas like a happy face not as a frown and it should be fine so this is what the final piece should look like this part is blue to the thin tea and you do not see the teeth the teeth or unders underneath so that part is done so at this point you should also have your soul your soul should done all three piece of should be glued together and ice and events and at this point you're going to come to me and I'm going to make a Mark here at the top and what's an important mark because that's when you know where line this one up at this point should also have this piece done should be very very very pliable directions been really easily your teeth should be bent and one of the things you want to make sure is that you can locate where the middle tooth is and you can tell that middle tooth because it's even on both sides and it's also a triangle and so now that we have those two pieces or able to start to Blue everything together so just to make sure let's count them one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 to launch into and 324 so we have the two middle ones that we're going to go with okay and their triangles the rest do not I have that shape so those two triangles were going to end up using when we do it to our base so this is the important part we want to make sure that we focus and that everything goes according to plan so what we want to make sure is that right here when we made our Mark that we get our state stapler is going to be an important part of this process  if we don't stable things correctly we're going to have problems trying to get things done alright once you have your cardboard ready to go you're going to what I'm doing ears I'm checking staple is you're going to get your two little triangle okay  and we're going to play some ride in this area where the line is so you notice I'm putting them right there and sometimes it might take a couple of tries but we're trying to do a stapler down so that the staple grabbed both pieces of cardboard and that's simply so that it holds it in place while the blue is dry alright so now we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and apply some blue along the edges we're going to Market where to stop the blue itself  game if you don't need a whole ton of glue if you put way too much blue is going to take a longer time for it to dry and pleasure going to be I'm waiting and waiting and is not going to be very strong so then what you do is you start to curve the body of choo choo the Contour of the shoe in other words you're following the shape of the Soul so if the soul is curved than you have to can and just kind of sit there holding here for a little bit letting the cardboard sword touch the the blue and they're going to get the stapler we're going to go to the side and like I said it might take a couple of people but what you want is to have it be holding cardboard down letting the glue certi dry  the trickiest part is always the first one it always seems to want to so trying to do here if you take a look is trying to make this soul to be even with the edge of your body okay that's what we're looking for those around even though we're going to the same thing to the other side  you want to make sure that the these are all on the base of the shoe start a letter Canada  standard for a little bit  I never going to go ahead and try to go in there and stay those pieces going to give it Allstate  I know some of your going to go crazy and just go staple everything  you don't need a whole bunch you just need to Fort parts  see that right there I dismissed it now got it your goal is to make it so that this Edge the souls 3 Souls you blew together that it's even to run your finger over it if the body is coming out a lot compared to the soil then take out the Staples and start over if you want it to be as even as possible okay alright so how do we have that done we're going to set that aside so that a cancer to dry on their or we're going to start doing now if we're going to start to work on the front part okay not through my experience I've noticed that this doesn't always fit perfectly in there so what we try to do is simply to take this piece okay and we're just going to cut this a little bit into the cardboard  and so by cutting into it and allows it light a lot better  the same thing with this one we just cutting a little bit of it  Camp soar we're just cutting that on the sides make that a little bit more open  just to see how it's going to fit and it goes right on the edge they're okay now at this point we want to make sure that the front part of the shoe right here this part set a time and a little bit upward because if you really look at your shoes they're not perfectly flat on the bottom cuz you don't have a flat foot that you wanted to ban app where you can see like where the toes are that is bending upward and we're just trying to see how well it's going fit make this right in there  and that looks like a nice fit obviously you want to make sure the bottom that it's nice it's not that there isn't that much of a gap and that's the issue here is that it's got some of your going to do it and it's going to be like that that does not look very good this guy almost non-existent it should be tight right up against the edge like that when you're glue it down so nice and even all right but we're not going to do that would we're just testing it to see if it fits and it does fit pretty well so now we're going to start to do is wow that is starting to dry a little bit I think it's ready used in the back okay so that's peace number for remember we talked about it fitting pretty well so just like we did in the front but also try to band the back of the bit because it's curving in the back and is curving in the front so we're going to band it a little bit going to take this piece make sure that this piece is proving the same way that you see it here that is curving up if you haven't curving down you have it upside down so flip it over make sure that it's the same size okay alright again do you want to make sure that the edge is centered can I take a look at it make sure that it's pretty even on both sides  and so again if we need to bend it more we need to bend it that's fine so the curves should match on both sides so now that that's ready we're going to go ahead and apply glue to it again too much blue takes forever to dry doesn't work just enough glue  is what we're aiming for we're going to take that piece we're going to apply to the middle and you can move it around until you're ready for it and here's where you just have to be patient hold a shoe Play Down  and press on it until the shapes are even if you feel like you need a little bit more blue than a little bit of glue but we want the glue to really hold well the tighter this is to the edge of Y true the better shoes going to be overall and that's kind of the plastic part at the bottom  are we wanted to be really really walk again if you feel like you need more glue go for it maybe I can little bit of blue to the sides make sure that even on both  go to this side the same thing at a little bit of glue and really hold it upside down  and look at it put your fingers like this press it tightening and there's no other way than just to hold it  you can't tape it if you tape it down when you peel the tape is going to rip your cardboard so really it's just holding it down for a couple of minutes  and when that time has finished then you're good to go alright so what does alpha right now I shouldn't but I wanted to show you the next part and that part has to do with this part which is the front we already tested this stop you know that if it's so now we're going to take our tongue okay remember how the tongue has this little accordion full to it okay notice the big that's the top then we have a middle part in in the bottom part that little part okay we're going to put a little bit of glue  camp and we're simply just attaching these two pieces together like so make sure it looks even with the toe okay and it should dry within a few minutes if you put too much blues and take forever so you just keep holding it until you're happy with it make sure it's even sometimes I've had students just get little clips and they put the clip on it and that hold it in place you got to be careful with it  okay alright so I got rid of been holding in for about a minute I will give it another minute or so and I'll kind of be tacky to the point where it can dry on its own  be careful El dry and I'll go back to this for a little bit make sure that everything drives really well alright so I'm going to let the drive for bed then I'll come back and I'll finish the rest of it off
